Cadiz With Alexis

After the trip to Italica, a group of 11 Texas Tech students went to the train station and bought round trip tickets to Cadiz. The trip was only 1 hour and 50 minutes long. Upon arrival we headed straight to the streets to ask people where the closest and nicest beach was from the train station. All of us walked from the train station to the beach. Seeing Cadiz before the beach makes you fall in love with the city. The city alone is beautiful.

We finally made our way to the beach and set up our place. The weather was not the greatest, but it still was nice to be there. After about 2 hours, three of us went to the local grocery store to get some snacks for the rest of our stay. The first idea was sleeping on the beach, but as the temperature started to drop, we decided that was not the best idea. We gathered our things and started looking for hostals. For such short notice it was a pain to find a hostal to fit all the people. Eventually, we found the Colon Hostal for 75 euros for a 3 person bedroom.

After putting all the stuff in the room, we all went to find a restaurant. Being in spain for only a week, we all were missing American food, so we found restaurant that served us hamburgers and other foods that we are used to.

The next day, we got up and checked out of our hostal and decided that we were going to go back to the beach before heading to our 3 o'clock train ride. When we were done with the beach, again, we found a restaurant right next to the beach. The restaurant was cheap, but every good. After lunch we walked back to the train station and got ready to head back to sevilla. That was our trip to Cadiz.
